The SCLCR2020K09 is a right-hand external turning tool holder for ISO CCMT09 / CCMT 09T3 positive carbide inserts. With a 20×20 mm square shank and K-length body, it is suitable for CNC lathes and conventional lathe toolposts where reliable insert clamping and stable cutting are required. The SCLCR design gives a 95° approach angle, making the holder practical for external turning, facing, shoulder turning and light profiling operations. When matched with the correct CCMT insert grade, chipbreaker and nose radius, it can be used on carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous materials. The screw-clamp insert fixing supports repeatable indexing and secure insert location, helping maintain consistent surface finish during daily workshop machining. This holder is a good price-to-quality option for general turning from light roughing to finishing, within the limits of the selected insert geometry and machine rigidity.
