The MWLNR2020M08 is a right-hand external turning tool holder for ISO WNMG08 negative trigon inserts, commonly WNMG0804 sizes. With a 20×20 mm square shank, it is suitable for CNC lathe turrets and conventional lathe toolposts where a rigid general-purpose outside turning holder is required. The holder is used for OD turning, facing toward shoulders and medium profiling operations on steels, stainless steels, cast iron and non-ferrous materials when fitted with the correct WNMG insert grade and chipbreaker. Its 95° approach angle gives good versatility for general workshop and production machining, while the multi-lock style clamping with top clamp and shim support helps keep the insert seated securely during medium and interrupted cuts. WNMG inserts provide multiple usable cutting edges, making this holder a cost-effective solution for roughing and semi-finishing. Cutting performance depends on the selected insert coating, grade, chipbreaker, nose radius and workpiece condition.
